In order to verify digital signatures in EMA electronic documents the following trust anchor certificates, from the Spanish Royal Mint (FNMT) Certification Authority, need to be installed and made available to your PDF Reader Application.
- FNMT Root Certification Authority Certificate should be downloaded from here.
- FNMT Intermediate Certification Authority Certificate should be downloaded from here.
- FNMT On-line Certificate Status Protocol (OCSP) Certificate should be downloaded from here.
EMA electronic documents, including some of the eAF electonic forms, are PDF certified, which are supported by certificates issued by GlobalSign under the Adobe Certified Document Services Scheme. Your PDF Reader Application should have access to the relevant GlobalSign Certification Authority Certificates and the Adobe Root Certification Authority Certificate. These certificates and their status, together with their usage conditions, may be obtained directly from these certification authority service providers (CSPs).
Your organisation’s security policies may require you to delegate the task of importing root certification authority certificates and other certificates in your computer to an authorised system administrator or security operations team.
